Text Box: the launch will take place shortly there after. Dan is busy putting the final touches to this year’s “New Hope Celebrates, Somewhere Over the Rainbow” pride weekend. Each year the weekend grows and gets bigger and bigger. A couple of the headliners for the event will be recording, cabaret and Broadway star, Sam Harris and the one, the only, Lesley Gore! You may remember a couple of her hits, “It’s My Party” and “You Don’t Own Me!” The committee has also come up with a New Hope Teen Idol contest for all those aspiring singers out there. There will also be an open air fashion show with entertainment and booths featuring the foods of several of New Hopes restaurants downtown on Saturday. There are several concerts scheduled for throughout the Summer in New Hope and local areas. We look forward to having you join us for the summer.
